Ingredients:
1 Large Head of Cauliflower separated into florets
Ingredients for Batter Mix:
1 Cup Plain Flour
3/4 tsp Paprika powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
2 tsp Garlic powder
2 tsp Onion powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Cup of water
Ingredients for Wings glaze:
2 tsp Neema African Scotch Bonnet Chilli Paste
3 tsp Olive oil
1 tsp Maple Syrup
Method:
Preheat the oven to 220C
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside
Wash the cauliflower head and cut them into florets.
In a small mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for batter mix and mix them smooth with a whisk.
The mix should be thick enough to coat the florets well.
Dip the cauliflower individually into a batter mix and place on parchment paper. Bake them for 18-20 minutes total until cauliflower florets are cooked and a bit crispy.
Whilst the cauliflower wings are getting through their first bake, prepare the wings glaze. Mix Neema African chilli paste with oil and maple syrup and set aside.Coat the baked cauliflower florets with the wings glaze and toss it really well. Return the cauliflower florets to the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
Serve with a nice dip!
