Cheesy Smashed Potatoes

They are just so yummy and simple. Crispy, crunch and extra delicious, as it's made with our African sweet & spicy chilli paste.

Ingredients: ⠀
800g small potatoes ⠀
1 tbsp salt (for boiling)⠀
2 tbsp butter, melted⠀
1 tbsp olive oil⠀
3/4 tsp salt ⠀
Parsley, finely chopped⠀
80g parmesan, grated ⠀
1 tsp Neema sweet & spicy ⠀

1) Bring a pot of water to the boil, on medium heat. Then add the salt. Cook the potatoes until soft (20-30 minutes).⠀
2) Preheat oven to 200 C. ⠀
3) Drain the potatoes and let them dry for 5 minutes on a tray.⠀
4) Smash them using the bottom of a cup or a potato smasher. Make sure to keep them in one piece. ⠀
5) Leave them to dry out again for 5-10 minutes. ⠀
6) Then, mix the butter, olive oil and Neema paste together and drizzle onto the potatoes. Then sprinkle with salt and parmesan. ⠀
7) Bake for 45-55 minutes. ⠀
8) Sprinkle with parsley to finish.⠀
