Chickpea Tagine

Chickpea Tagine - It's just perfect for tonight's dinner. This Chickpea Tagine is simply tasty and easy to make. It's ready in under 30 minutes. This recipe is made with our ginger and scotch bonnet chilli paste.

Ingredients: ⠀
2 Tbsp olive oil⠀
1 onion, chopped⠀
2 Tbsp ground cumin⠀
400g can chopped tomatoes⠀
300ml vegetable stock⠀
1 can chickpeas⠀
Couscous ⠀
1 Tbsp Neema Aromatic Ginger ⠀

Instructions: ⠀
1) To a pan on medium heat add the olive oil and sauté the onions for 3 minutes. Add the Neema paste, stir, for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the ground cumin then stir for a further 1 minute until fragrant.⠀

2) Add the canned tomatoes and the vegetable stock, and stir to combine. Season to taste with sea salt. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the tagine for 12-15 minutes.⠀

3) Serve with the couscous.⠀
