Chilli & Chocolate Yay or Nay?
Some recipes call for adding chocolate to their chilli con carne. Is this something you would try out?

2 Tbsp butter ⠀
1 onion, diced ⠀
2 cloves garlic, minced ⠀
1 red bell pepper, diced ⠀
2 Tbsp Neema Fruity and Fiery ⠀
1 Tbsp ground cumin ⠀
500g minced beef ⠀
2 seasoning cubes ⠀
1 Tin chopped tomatoes ⠀
1 Tin kidney beans ⠀
1/2 Tin sweetcorn ⠀
2 squares of 70% cocoa chocolate ⠀
1 can of water ⠀
Add the butter to a pan and Sauté the onions and garlic for 1-2 minutes on low heat.
Then add the chilli paste and other spices and cook for 3 minutes stirring continuously.
Turn up the heat to high or medium. Add the mince and cook until browned. After add the pepper, seasoning cubes, tomatoes and water and bring to a boil.
Then lower the heat and cook for around 1- 1 ½ hours stirring occasionally.
Next add the kidney beans (drained) and stir in the chocolate. Cook for a further 10 minutes.
