Neema Onion Rings

These onion rings are so yummy and easy to make. It's the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine.

Recipe below:
2 large onions, cut into thick slices ⠀
150g self-raising flour⠀
1 tsp baking powder⠀
1 tsp salt⠀
1 large egg⠀
1 cup milk, or as needed⠀
60g dry bread crumbs⠀
1 tsp Neema Fruity & Fiery ⠀
Oil for frying, as needed⠀

Instructions: ⠀
1) Heat the oil in a deep-fryer to 185 C⠀
2) In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.⠀
3) Dip the onion slices into the flour mixture until they are all coated. ⠀
4) Whisk the egg, Neema paste and milk into the flour mixture using a fork. Dip the floured rings into the batter to coat, then place on a wire rack to drain. ⠀
5) Coat the rings in bread crumbs. ⠀
6) Deep fry the rings a few at a time for 2- 3 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain. ⠀
