Spicy Beef & Chickpea Burger

Ingredients: ⠀
1/2 cup cooked brown rice cooled⠀
1/2 cup cooked quinoa cooled⠀
1 onion, diced⠀
2 Tbsp olive oil⠀
3 red beets cooked, cooled and roughly chopped ⠀
1 tin of chickpeas ⠀
1/4 cup chickpea flour⠀
2 Tbsp Neema Fruity & Fiery ⠀
1/2 teaspoon salt⠀
1 large avocado/ guacamole ⠀

Instructions: ⠀
1. Into a pan on medium heat add the oil and sauté the onions for 1-2 minutes. ⠀
2. Then add the quinoa, rice, onion and carrots, beets, chickpeas, chickpea flour, chili powder, Neema paste, salt and pepper to a food processor and pulse gently until mixture holds together.⠀
3. Shape the mixture into patties. ⠀
4. Preheat oven to 300-350 C. Add oil to a oven skillet and place on medium heat. After add the burger patties and cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip and repeat on the second side. ⠀
5. Then put the skillet in the oven for about 6-8 minutes, or until patties are cooked through. ⠀
6. Assemble with buns, guacamole sliced cucumber and sliced fresh/pickled onions. ⠀
