Boost your immune system with this turmeric rice recipe. It's super easy to do and taste delicious
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of butter
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic
3/4 cup of frozen mixed peas and carrots
1 cup of rice
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of ground turmeric
1 cube of vegetable bouillon
1/2 teaspoon of Neema African Scotch Bonnet & Ginger Chilli Paste
Method:
Melt butter in a saucepan over a medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir until golden for 5 minutes.
Add rice, turmeric, Neema scotch bonnet & ginger chilli paste and stir for 5 mins. Add water, bouillon cube, peas and carrots.
Cover the rice and reduce heat to low. Cook until rice is tender and liquid has been absorbed.
