Scotch Bonnet Chilli
Scotch Bonnet Chilli got their name from their appearance, they grew in an odd, flattened shape that’s similar to a Scotsman’s bonnet. Scotch Bonnet Chillies is best known for the unique flavour it brings to jerk dishes in Caribbean cuisine, but did you know that it's also used to add flavour in many dishes around the world including.

Contrary to some people's belief, it's not the hottest chilli in the world but it is Hot. On the Scoville scale, it has a heat rating between 100,000 and 350,000. This is between 12 and 140 times hotter than a Jalapeño. But don't be deterred by their fiery nature though, they add a world of flavour to your cooking and you don't need to use a lot.

Garlic

Garlic is not only packed full of flavour, but it has a vast amount of health benefits. 

Eating garlic may help detoxify heavy metals from your body. 

Garlic contains allicin, which has great anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. These properties are just crucial for getting rid of toxins in the body.⠀

It's highly nutritious with very few calories. Garlic contains vitamin C, B6, Fiber, and a whole host of other nutrients.

Onions

Onions are so versatile and it’s an essential ingredient for any dish, they bring such a depth of flavour to any dish it is, but onions are not just flavoursome, they are packed full of health benefits as well.

Green Bullet Chilli

Green bullet chilli is native to central & south America. They are fragrant and fruity flavour with medium heat. They are also filled with health benefits for your body:

They are high in vitamin C & A which helps to boost the immune system.

They are loaded with beta-carotene which supports eye health.

Green Bullet Chilli is a great source of iron.⠀

 Lemons

There’s more to lemons than meet the eye, this fruit adds a great tangy flavour to your dish but they are also packed with essential health benefits:

Lemons are a good source of vitamins C, help to battle infection, promote immunity & heal wounds.

Lemons also contain calcium which is important for muscle function & vascular contractions

They also contain potassium, which helps your nerves work properly and muscles.

One of the natural ingredients we use in our African chilli pastes is rapeseed oil. Did you know that the rapeseed plant is of the same family as cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower? Not only does it make for a lovely landscape with its beautiful vibrant yellow flowers.

It produces oil that has amazing health benefits including supporting the brain, eyes, skin and strengthening the immune system.

One of the natural ingredients we use in our African chilli pastes is organic tomatoes puree. This fruit has a great source  of vitamin C, potassium, folate & vitamin K
